This philosophy has guided Personalized Books 'n Things since we began creating personalized books in 1994. As our children were growing up, story time was a family tradition that brought excitement, happiness and learning into our home. We are now continuing this tradition with our grandchildren. Today's technology allows your child, grandchild, or any child in your life to become the STAR of the story in a personalized book. From the moment your child opens one of our personalized books, the magical adventure begins. Each story focuses on one important theme, and is designed to help instill in your child the desire to read. You will find that children love receiving a Create A Book because the story is about them! So start a new tradition with your family by giving your children personalized books.

We have been making customized personalized books and gifts for many satisfied customers over the last 14 years. We began our business with the personalized books and then began expanding to other personalized products. In addition to our web site we sell our products in gift shops located in malls, hospitals and shopping centers throughout the Pittsburgh area. We also do craft and vendor shows throughout the year. Check our Show Listings and come and visit us. We love to meet our customers in person! We enjoy seeing the smiles on our customers' faces when they are reading our personalized books and name signs and thinking of that special loved one to give them to. We also do Fundraisers for groups of any size, e-mail or call us for details.

About Beth Now for a little bit about my background. I am a retired reading specialist. I started the personalized book business before retiring. Starting a book business was a natural fit because I love reading and I love to see others reading, especially kids. I have a great husband who has been very supportive of my business and he played a major role in helping me get it started. I am the mother of 2 daughters who have assisted me numerous times along the way and still do. They were 16 and 14 when I started the business and they are both married now. I have 4 grandchildren!
